Leaving Skye

After a wonderful day of sightseeing on Skye, we're headed back to
Edinburgh. We're on a different bus though, after a series of mishaps
yesterday! There was a second bus doing the tour and just after we saw
the fairy glen that bus broke down. I think the rear suspension went
out or something. So we filled up all the extra seats on our bus with
as many people as could fit and shuttled them back to the hostel with
us. Then this morning we learned that the replacement bus had hit a
dear on the way up to Skye and needed repairs too! So we're on another
new bus and left about an hour late. No biggie though, no one has any
schedules to keep tonight.

But back to my time on Skye! This was my third time on the island and
considering that the first time there was snow everywhere, and the
second time was mostly rain and grey, I was ecstatic that we had some
sun and blue skies! Everything was even more beautiful than usual.

I definitely would love to live there someday!
