Back to the land of the Scotch

Hello everyone! My apologies for not blogging more/sooner, I was mostly using Twitter and FB status updates to communicate.

When I first arrived, I found that wasn't too excited about being touristy in London. Instead I met some cool people: a guy from the USA named Philip who was just finishing 5 months of traveling around Europe, a girl Alanna from Australia who is just starting 3 months of travel, and a guy named Leonardo from Brazil and another guy named Brian from the USA who were both finishing up med school!

I also got to see Katie Markle for my last two days in London, which was really nice. I'm hopeful that we'll see each other much more this year!

Last night I grabbed the overnight bus to Edinburgh and actually managed to sleep through almost the whole 8-hour trip. An amazing feat for me! I spent the day wandering around the fringe festival, just grabbed dinner with a friend Jo from Stirling Uni, and now I'm on the train to meet up with Celeste!

Fun till the 11th hour!

I leave in less than 24 hours and Heather and I are finally doing what we said we would do for our first date: climbing! I'll miss this life, it's been great to me!

Packing!

I just finished packing my backpack for the next month if traveling and now I'm making a pile of stuff that I'll ship to my place in Italy. I still can't believe I leave in just 2 days! London is going to be fun and I'll get to see some friends too. I'll send everyone and email once I land safely and keep you updated as I wander around Europe!
